There is a public toilet block by the main paved car park area.
There is a café at the beach and sometimes visiting vans (ice cream etc.) during the high season.
There are no first aid facilities.
Sturdy, ideally waterproof, footwear is recommended. If crossing the causeway, leaders are encouraged to conduct a risk assessment before starting the walk and brief students on expectations during the crossing.
There are open grassy spaces or the beach to choose from.
